I really enjoyed my PT sessions with Nyle. He specifically focused on the areas I wanted to work on and consistently corrected me during the sessions to improve my technique and posture. I highly recommend Nyle, whether you’re a beginner or looking to take your training to the next level.

Nyle is wonderful to work with! When I first started training with him two years ago I had no clue what I was doing in the gym. Now I’m feeling strong and can confidently and safely complete workouts on my own. Nyle is thoughtful, listens and designs programs that help you achieve your goals and keep you moving forward. 36 Basement is a well designed and equipped space with wonderful vibes and a bonus dog! Well worth a visit ☺️

First session at 36 basement having trained with Nyle previously - amazing equipment and space, expert knowledge of physiology/anatomy/training as always. Can be daunting as more of a beginner in training than a gymnast in a calisthenics environment but Nyle breaks it down and makes achievable stepwise goals towards long term improvement.

Nyle is awesome 🙌 He helped me get on top of chronic back pain that I’d been struggling with for ages. He’s super patient, easy to work with, and actually makes training enjoyable. What I really appreciate is his focus on holistic health - through calisthenics, mobility, and moving well - rather than just chasing aesthetics. Highly recommend.

Nyle has been working with me for a couple of years now. I was coming out of long-Covid recovery and I’d never done weight training before so the base was very low when I started! He’s helped me so much with technique that I have a lot of confidence in my solo workouts. I also like that Nyle is encouraging without being judgey and will push me out of my comfort zone but always with control and never in ways that cause injury. I look forward to our PT sessions and the tunes are always good too!

10/10 - highly recommend ! Only been coaching for a few months and have already hit PBS for weighted pull ups & dips! Love the programming and coaching style!

I can’t recommend 36 basement highly enough. I came in with zero experience in calisthenics, and the progress I’ve made since starting has been incredible.
The coaching is next level. Everything is broken down clearly, with a strong focus on proper form and actually understanding each movement, not just going through the motions. That’s made a huge difference in both my confidence and results.
Genuinely one of the best trainers I’ve ever worked with. If you’re thinking about starting calisthenics or improving your skills, this is the place to go.
Ow and another big plus, dog friendly ☺️ - Natasha Bletchly··from Google
Cannot rate higher! Pt sessions with Nyal have been game changer for my health and learning callisthenics.

Nyle is a brilliant personal trainer who leverages data-driven insights to help tailor training specific to his clients. I’ve been going to him since April last year and it’s been a great 12 months. He’s beginning to create a community with his clients through fun Cali comps and run clubs. So if you’re after more than just training, and seeking a community of individuals with shared goals, aspirations, and visions, Nyle is the man for it! Your biggest regret would be reading this review and not contacting him.

Very cool private studio for movement lovers that appreciate tailored training and records playing as the background of every session. Nyle is someone who instantly makes you feel comfortable and heard. While the focus is around calisthenics training, you can come in at any level and progress at your pace, you’ll never feel intimidated or overwhelmed. Every training session is thoughtfully planned and personalised.
